Announcement: Law Dexter’s National Debate Competition 2020

 

Greetings!

The Law Dexter’s National Debate Competition 2020 is open for registration!


BACKGROUND: Law Dexter is a student-driven forum that provides opportunities to every young budding mind of the legal fraternity to come forward and share their imaginative and creative legal thoughts and broadcast their skill in legal writing. The competition aims to enhance the oratory and debating skills of participants and take away experience, expertise and excellence.


AGENDA: Same-Sex Marriage should be legally recognized.


FORMAT: - Conventional Debate in a team of two members. 

- Each team shall have in TOTAL 8 MINUTES to speak (each speaker shall speak for at least a 3 minutes). 

- 2 extra minutes will be allotted for the rebuttal.


DATE OF THE EVENT: Debate shall be conducted from 24th TO 25th OCTOBER 2020.


REGISTRATION FEE: Rs. 200 per team


LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION: 22/10/20


Note: As the registration ends tonight please mail the team composition before 9 PM

JINDAL PD, SONIPAT

The 6th Edition of the Jindal IV i.e Parliamentary Debate competition will be held from the 13th-15th October at OP Jindal University, Sonipat, Haryana.  The event is being organised on 13th to 15th October, 2018.  The Registration Fee for the event is Rs. 2200/-. (This is inclusive of the Tournament Fee, Accommodation on 13th and 14th October, and Breakfast and High Tea on 13th and 14 October.) For institutional teams: For each institutional contingent we will be  following the N+1 policy for the tournament, where for N slots, N number of adjudicators should be A level. Independent adjudicators are welcome to apply as well. The interested teams can apply to according to the rules at the DebSoc Mail ID  by 3rd October 12:00 am.
