DebSoc Blacklist Policy
The Blacklist policy from The Debating Society, School of Law, UPES, is our way of maintaining discipline in members and participants by way of punitive action against students violating our policies. There are several violations that can lead to blacklisting, subject to the core committee's discretion at the very end of the procedure, including, but not limited to: 1. Participation in Nationals without the clear consent of the concerned authorities in DebSoc. 2. Backing out of a competition (including Novice, Intra and Nationals) as a participant or a volunteer without clearing it with DebSoc first. 3. Indecent (characterised as insensitive or inapproriate) or laid back (characterised as uninterested or slacking) behaviour on the part of an OC member, participant or volunteer.
